The Village
Verano is a peaceful, sun-drenched mountain village at about 1,200m, with restaurants, a supermarket and hiking trails all within minutes of the apartment.

Summer
From June to September the plateau is warm, flower-filled and perfect for hiking. Trails start from the apartment door, across the Tschögglberg plateau, with the Dolomites within reach.
Winter
Reliable snowfall, snowshoeing from the door and Merano 2000 ski area just 15 minutes away make Verano a superb winter base.
Getting There
Verano is easy to reach by car from the A22 motorway, or by train to Burgstall and the cable car up. Free parking at the apartment.
Merano
One of the most elegant towns in the Alps, just 20 minutes away. Thermal baths, the famous Trauttmansdorff Gardens, great restaurants and a beautiful old town.
Bolzano
South Tyrol's capital, 30 minutes by car. Home to Ötzi the Iceman, a medieval old town, excellent markets and plenty of good restaurants.
